We have an exciting opportunity for a Tender Estimator to join us on permanent basis in our new offices located in Aberdeen, Prime Four Business Park.

As a Tender Estimator you will be a part of the Finance Department and you will support the Commercial Team. Your main responsibilities will be to gather, consolidate/evaluate, and produce cost estimates for tenders and studies within DeepOcean’s guidelines and procedures.

Duties and responsibilities
Prepare cost estimates in accordance with standard DeepOcean CBS and Client requirements

On occasions, support the project division as Project Controller or Planner.

 Deliver tender documentation and investment analysis for commercial decision making

Review, evaluate and complete client provided Commercial/Remuneration & Exhibits.

 Produce Cost Plans and Cash Flow Forecasts for applicable tenders.

 Provide input to CRM system in form of costing and selling price for the ongoing tenders.

 Organise and run relevant cost review meetings as required during the tender period.

 Provide and present cost/pricing basis at Tenderboards.

 Support in developing cost/risk analyses.

 Provide costing support and monitor cost impacts during bid clarifications and negotiation meetings

Gather experience figures and maintain the Benchmark Database

Conduct handover with project team and follow up/support during project execution to ensure feedback

3-4 years of broad experience of delivering Tender Estimates on various types and size of projects.

 Advanced MS Excel competence is essential.

 Degree qualified in Finance or Business Studies is preferable.

 Experience/background from project controls is an advantage.

 Able to demonstrate financial competence and commercial/contractual knowledge.
