Sales & Marketing Controller (Management Accountant)

About the Role


We have an excellent role in our Professional Hygiene Controlling team, to support the sales analysis and cost control for the UK and Ireland business, with the focus on our global and market leading brand Tork.


As Sales & Marketing Controller, you will be responsible for preparing reports at month end and managing the forecasting and budget process.


Based in our office located in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, this position is a permanent position. We have a hybrid working model so flexible working is available.

What You Will Do


In this role, you will support the Period End Close process by maintaining systems to ensure accurate accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.


You will also be expected to support the control and analysis of customer rebates, price support, own the controls and processes and reviewing these regularly and lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the Professional Hygiene business unit in UK and Ireland.


There will also be responsibility for analysis of income and expenditure for month end reports, plus the production of monthly management accounts, reviewing customer profitability, and ensuring all statistical information is correct.


Who You Are


We would like to hear from you if you have the following:



  • Hold a professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)

  • Worked as a Management Accountant for a minimum of 2 years (post qualification), ideally in a commercial organization

  • Ability to analyse and draw conclusions from large volumes of data

  • Have strong communication skills, to effectively deliver and receive information to and from all levels of the business

  • Competent systems user, including Microsoft Office applications (Advanced Excel)
