The Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (FICC) & Derivative Core Operations (FDCO) team perform end to end trade control, confirmation and settlements processes across FICC businesses and provides utility OTC derivative confirmation and settlement services for non FICC businesses.

Within FDCO, the teams provide multiple services such as FICC trade control, Foreign Exchange (FX) electronic matching and settlement, Over the Counter (OTC) derivative confirmation and settlement, and commodities operations.

The role Involves being the point of contact for EMEA based Clients relating to Precious and Base Metal Commodity settlements. The successful candidate must be on hand to offer premium service, address and resolve any issues or queries whilst managing the relationships between our external and internal Bank of America Clients and third party relationships.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the settlement of physical precious metals and financial derivative trades for all indexes.

  • Analysing accounts receivable and payable aging, working with counterparties, sales, traders,

  • Third parties and the confirmation team to resolve discrepancies

  • Maintain internal control processes and procedures within a operational awareness culture environment

  • Industry regulatory reporting tasks

  • Add value though implementation of improvements to the system infrastructure & control environment

  • Communicate updates and escalation to senior management

  • Involvement in projects and ad-hoc testing
