About the Role

Our Category Trader team plays a key role in sourcing the best medication, health & wellbeing and OTC products for our pharmacy business across the UK. The post holder will be accountable for delivering the strategic and tactical plans for their respective categories, ensuring continuous delivery of the key KPIs of margin, sales, own brand share, supplier income and stock, for our in-store and on-line channels.

Your will take full responsibility for delivering the plan for the category group; managing the construction and communication of the tactical plans and maintaining a detailed knowledge of key supplier and competitor strategies activities

About You

The ideal applicant will have proven Category Management and Buying experience within the multiple retail sector both for in-store and on-line channels. You will be a strategic & creative thinker with a clear ability to work cross functionally and influence senior stakeholders to deliver on your tactical plans/business objectives. It is important that you are confident in utilising market data to drive decision making for product development, ranging and pricing decisions; with a clear ability to juggle multiple priorities whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail & accuracy.
