About The Role

EKC Group are seeking a Sous Chef to join the Group at their 4-star hotel, The Yarrow.

If the above aim is something you want to be involved with, we are seeking to appoint a Sous Chef to join us at the Yarrow Hotel within our Kitchen and Food and Beverage department. As our Sous Chef you will work under the leadership of the Head Chef and will be responsible for providing fantastic food and menu ideas to our guests.

About You

Each team member is expected to act as an Ambassador for The Yarrow delivering individualised and personalised services for business and leisure travellers. Your task is to provide a personal, confident, conversational, direct and affirming service to make guests feel refreshed and recharged and want to return. You will have complete knowledge of your hotel and local area to ensure that our guests get the most out of their stay.

The successful candidate will be able to display excellent culinaryskills and will be highly guest-focused with a passion for providingguests with exceptional quality food.

The ideal candidate will have Industry awareness eg relevant skills,certifications and have worked as a Sous / Senior Sous Chef in asimilar Restaurant or Hotel establishment for at least one year, youwill also have experience within the industry / legal standards etc. and good organisational skills in order to provide an effective andefficient service.
