Workday Financials Functional Lead - Greenfield Implementation

My client is embarking on an exciting journey to implement Workday Financials and Workday HCM in a Greenfield environment. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday Functional Lead to spearhead the implementation of Workday Financials and Workday HCM.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Greenfield implementation of Workday Financials and Workday HCM, serving as a subject matter expert and guiding the project team through all phases of the implementation life cycle.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather business requirements for Workday Financials and HCM, ensuring a deep understanding of organisational needs and objectives.
• Configure and customize Workday Financials and HCM to align with business requirements, leveraging deep expertise in Workday functionalities and best practices.
• Oversee the design and implementation of integrations between Workday and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and a unified technology landscape.
• Develop and execute data migration strategies to ensure accurate and timely transfer of data from legacy systems to Workday.
• Lead the testing efforts for Workday Financials and HCM, including the development of test plans, coordination of testing activities, and ensuring the overall quality of the system.
• Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and provide change management support to ensure a smooth transition to Workday.
• Provide ongoing support post-implementation, addressing user inquiries, resolving issues, and continuously optimizing Workday configurations based on evolving business needs.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and integration's within Workday.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Workday Functional Lead, with expertise in both Workday Financials and Workday HCM.
• Strong understanding of ERP concepts, processes, and best practices within the context of Workday.
• Previous experience leading Greenfield implementations of Workday Financials and HCM.
• In-depth knowledge of Workday functionalities, configuration options, and integration capabilities.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Certification in Workday Financials and Workday HCM is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
