This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring our repairs service runs efficiently by planning and coordinating appointments, maximising the use of our operatives and contractors, and helping us deliver an outstanding service to our customer
s.
What you'll be do
ingAs a Work Planner, you'll be responsible for scheduling and monitoring repairs appointments and emergency works, ensuring the most effective use of available resources while helping us meet our service standards and performance targe
ts.You'
- ll:Plan and schedule repairs appointments using our scheduling and housing management syste
- ms.Monitor diaries and allocate work to maximise operative productivity and minimise travel ti
- me.Respond to telephone calls, emails and system updates, resolving queries and complaints professionally and efficient
- ly.Work closely with managers and operatives to reallocate resources when priorities change or emergencies ari
- se.Maintain accurate scheduling data, resource profiles and absence recor
- ds.Produce reports and management information to support service performan
- ce.Ensure repairs are completed within agreed timescales and Key Performance Indicators (KPI
- s).Help identify opportunities to improve planning processes and deliver better outcomes for our custome
- rs.Always work safely and in line with legislation, regulatory requirements and Trust polici
es.

- ent.Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing dema

- ems.Experience handling customer enquiries and complaints by telephone, in writing and face to f
- ace.Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and custom
- ers.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under press
- ure.A proactive, flexible approach with a commitment to continuous improvem
