What are we looking for?
The Secret Space is looking for a Trustee to join the Board who can demonstrate skills and experience either professionally or privately in either finance, fundraising, marketing, or with legal experience This role actively contributes to the effective running of the organisation by helping to ensure its financial stability, considering investment of its funds and implementing the Board’s decisions. By working collaboratively with other trustees and sharing in the workload, you will be a valuable asset to the team.
What will you be doing?
The Secret Space is looking for Trustees to join and enhance their Board - particularly individuals with demonstrable skills in either finance, fundraising, or marketing, or with legal experience. This role actively contributes to the effective running of the organisation by helping to ensure its financial stability, considering investment of its funds and implementing the Board’s decisions. By working collaboratively with other trustees and sharing in the workload, you will be a valuable asset to the team. The Secret Space is a strong community, made up of staff, volunteers, teachers, therapists, and counsellors as well as members of the public of whom, for many, coming here feels like being part of a family. You'll be contributing to the health and wellbeing of local residents and the wider community in Hertfordshire. Good local knowledge, and an interest in the area of Yoga and Holistic Therapies would be desirable.
