Windmills is a young & successful charity that provides expert, 1 1 care that helps youngsters experiencing the imminent/recent death of a loved one to find a caring & positive pathway through their grieving.

Helping to make a difference to the lives of people across Staffordshire - The charity is called Windmills because it turns the impact of death for the vulnerable child from one of destructive negativity to one of managed positivity Develop valuable skills, knowledge, experience and networks within the voluntary sector. Work alongside a committed and varied team of trustees, all striving to grow the charitable impact Feel great by giving back!
What are we looking for?
We're looking to welcome a new Trustee to our Board. A general understanding of strategy, governance, finance, HR, fundraising and clinical services would be useful. Individuals who have a successful track record in one or more of the following skills would be advantageous An experienced marketeer with knowledge of the charity sector – helping steer our marketing & communications strategy and supporting and advising our staff members. A fundraiser with experience of income generation amongst corporates, high-net worth individuals, trusts and foundations - advising the board on fundraising strategy. Experience with social media and helping maintain our online presence List is not exhaustive and we would welcome conversations with individuals who feel that they have a skill set that would benefit our Charity and align with our values.

JOIN OUR BOARD OF TRUSTEES We're looking to welcome a new Trustee to our Board. A general understanding of strategy, governance, finance, HR, fundraising and clinical services would be useful. Individuals who have a successful track record in one or more of the following skills would be advantageous An experienced marketeer with knowledge of the charity sector – helping steer our marketing & communications strategy and supporting and advising our staff members. A fundraiser with experience of income generation amongst corporates, high-net worth individuals, trusts and foundations - advising the board on fundraising strategy. Experience with social media and helping maintain our online presence External due diligence will include two referees and a successful standard DBS disclosure. All applications will be considered equally by the Trustees.
