We're seeking a skilled and visionary individual to help scale our impact. You will play a pivotal role in designing & implementing strategies that diversify & grow our revenue through training sales, partnerships & consultancy services

By supporting the growth and income generation of BFCA, this role will directly contribute to Expanding Access to Support & Training More revenue means we can deliver more high-quality, culturally competent training and support to foster carers—helping them feel empowered, prepared, and connected. Improving Outcomes for Children in Care Increased funding allows us to develop and deliver innovative programmes that improve stability, identity, and wellbeing for children and young people. Amplifying the Voices of Black Foster Carers As BFCA grows, so does our capacity to advocate for equity and inclusion in fostering, ensuring carers from underrepresented backgrounds are heard and supported. Creating a Stronger, More Resilient Community A sustainable organisation means carers and families can rely on us long-term for advocacy, mentoring, and culturally grounded services that meet their real needs.
What are we looking for?
Strategic Planning Ability to design and implement growth strategies aligned with organisational goals. Business Development Skilled in identifying and converting opportunities into income-generating partnerships or contracts. Marketing and Communications Confident in building brand awareness, refining messaging, and supporting campaigns that attract clients or funders. Financial Acumen Understanding of pricing, revenue forecasting, and creating financially sustainable models. Project Management Able to manage multiple priorities and ensure timely delivery of goals. Stakeholder Engagement Excellent at building relationships with local authorities, partners, funders, and community leader
What will you be doing?
Develop and implement an income generation strategy aligned with BFCA’s mission and values Identify and build strategic partnerships with fostering organisations, local authorities, and corporate sponsors Advise on pricing models, sales funnels, and value propositions for BFCA's training and consultancy services Review and enhance BFCA’s marketing and communications strategy to drive client engagement and conversions Mentor and support the CEO and wider team in growth planning and business development Lead on the design of a growth roadmap that identifies high-value opportunities over the next 6–12 months
