Ultimately, your contribution will ensure that every financial decision we make supports our mission to empower and uplift underserved communities. What are we looking for?

Experience in financial analysis, FP&A, management accounting, or similar Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas and scenario modeling Ability to build clear, flexible financial models (e.g., income/staffing forecasts) Comfortable working independently and asking clarifying questions Understanding of non-profit or service-based financial dynamics (desirable)

What will you be doing?

Kainé Management is a community charity that has operated for over two decades in Leicester. Our focus areas are Arts, Community, and Education, and we deliver innovative, culturally responsive programming for young people, seniors, BAME students, and the wider community. We run both grant-funded services and income-generating activities. As we look to expand our team by hiring additional full-time staff, we need better tools to understand our finances, model growth, and make informed decisions. We’re seeking a skilled volunteer to help us build clear, usable financial forecasts. You’ll work closely with the Co-Oweners, Treasurer, and other trustees to gather inputs on costs, income, and staffing plans. Key deliverables include a simple 12–24 month financial model (Excel/QuickBooks) that includes cash flow, income streams, staffing costs, and multiple growth scenarios. You’ll also help identify trends, risks, or opportunities that we should consider when planning our future services and staff recruitment. This role is flexible and project-based - you may only need to commit a few hours per week for 3 months. We’re happy to shape the scope around your experience and capacity. You’ll be working directly with our leadership and be supported with all the data and insight we can offer.
