Volunteer Female Engagement Support - #189487
Change Grow Live
Date: 2 weeks ago
City: Kingston upon Hull
Contract type: Full time
Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live. Last year, over 1,400 volunteers donated more than a quarter of a million hours to support our communities.
As a Female Engagement Support Volunteer, you will play a key role in supporting vulnerable women in your local community, including those experiencing homelessness, domestic abuse, or other complex challenges. You will help create a safe, welcoming environment, build trusting relationships, and support women to access the services they need.
This is a hands-on, entry-level volunteering role, perfect for anyone who wants to gain experience in community work, learn more about supporting women with complex needs, and develop skills in communication, advocacy, and outreach. You don’t need prior experience, just a compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude.
Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers and make a real difference in the lives of women who need support and encouragement?
Volunteers contribute to Change Grow Live in a variety of ways. From Admin Volunteers to Service User Reps, from Peer Mentors to Healthcare Support Volunteers, from Independent Visitors to Community Mentors each volunteer brings a unique set of skills and talents. We are incredibly grateful for all that volunteers do to support our service users.
If there isn’t a specific volunteering role listed for the service in your area, or have a skill you would like to donate to us you can use this listing to express your interest
Most of our volunteer opportunities don’t need any special qualifications. We’ll make sure you get all the training and support you need. All we ask is that you're kind, open-minded and passionate about supporting people.
Everyone is welcome at Change Grow Live. As a volunteer you will be treated with respect and accepted for who you are. You don’t need to have personal experience of drug and alcohol recovery to get involved.
