Leigh Academies Trust is seeking a dedicated individual to guide our esteemed educational institution, undertaking the pivotal role of Chair of Governors for the Longfield & Wilmington Community Board.
What difference will you make?
As Chair, you’ll spearhead the local governance of three academies Wilmington Academy, Longfield Academy and Leigh Academy Hartley. You will play a crucial role in shaping the educational trajectory for young minds. Community Board Chairs are responsible for driving the strategic development within each academy incollaboration with academy and Trust senior leaders. In partnership with Cluster Directors, AcademiesDirectors, Principals, senior leadership teams, and the Community Board, they help to shape the vision,ethos, and culture and inspire effective governance contributions from all Community Board members.
