Under the supervision of the Unit manager the post holder will be responsible for delivering the provision, organisation, and direct nursing care for the Urology patients within the outpatient setting. Demonstrating effective communication skills that can be used for all members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care is provided for all patients

This vacancy is open to all internal and external candidates. NHS Employees should ideally secure their manager’s agreement for a secondment arrangement ideally prior to applying, as this will be a condition of any offer made. This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term basis due to funding and will end in 18 months. Whilst this post is advertised on a secondment basis there is the potential that this post may become permanent in the future.

  • Accountable for nursing practice and takes every opportunity to sustain and improve his/her knowledge and professional competencies.
  • To function effectively as a member of the Multi-disciplinary team.
  • Participate in the assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating programmes of care relevant to patients within their sphere of responsibility and under supervision.
  • To be sensitive and empathetic to patients/family members needs in relation to courtesy, privacy, and dignity.
