Introduction

As an Arla Transport Assistant at our Hatfield Distribution centre you will join a multifunctional team to collaborate closely with the whole of Logistics within the business. The role will see you interacting with all levels within the organisation from Vice President to front line colleagues.

This is a Part Time position working 24 hours per week, Monday (at site), Thursday and Friday (hybrid working)

Main Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities that come with this role are

  • Managing time and attendance for front line colleagues
  • Running weekly and monthly time & attendance reports

Skills And Competencies

We are looking for an individual who has the ability to understand and take control of site administration whilst always looking for ways of improving and streamlining processes. You must have excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge where necessary. In addition we are also looking for the following

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise to keep track of workload
  • Adaptable approach to changes in the business
  • Able to deal with sensitive/confidential information
  • Proactive approach and ability to act on own initiative
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and numeracy skills
