About The Role

Location: Mitcham

  • Salary £29,870.77 and increasing to £39,935.43, when passing their test and becoming a full HGV driver.
  • Shift pattern: Monday - Friday with alternate Saturday mornings
  • Starting time: 04:00 am - 14:00 pm
  • Working 45 Hours per week
  • Full Time - Permanent
  • Full PPE Provided
  • Full Training Given

About The Role

What will I be doing?

  • The role will involve the loading of vehicles collecting municipal recycling and waste from households, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with health and safety rules and contractual requirements at all times.
  • This is a very physical role in all types of weather
  • Once fully trained as a LGV Driver you will be driving our Trucks and being part a team in our organisation.

What are the requirements?

  • You must be able to demonstrate reliability, good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team
  • Excellent at delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of working with waste vehicles is desirable but not essential as training will be given where necessary.
  • You must hold a current driving licence, and have been driving for 12 months.
