Running team of Traffic Management Operatives and Fitters, ensuring deliveries arrive on time to customers, maintaining stock levels and equipment availability. Supporting SCM/SM with health and safety in depot. Vehicle and driver compliance. Assisting with day to day running of depot in managers absence.

Running team of Traffic Management Operatives and Fitters, ensuring deliveries arrive on time to customers, maintaining stock levels and equipment availability. Supporting SCM/SM with health and safety in depot. Vehicle and driver compliance. Assisting with day to day running of depot in managers absence.
As Foreperson your duties will include;
- Managing team of Traffic Management Operatives and Traffic Management Fitters
- Liaising with office and ordering additional staff if required
- Checking the Logistics application to ensure this has been completed correctly by staff
- Ensuring vehicles are loaded correctly with all equipment required for the hire.
- Working with the fitter to maximise the full potential of the depot’s assets by maximising utilisation, quality and availability to Customers.
- Check driver logbooks, ensure compliance and any breaches are dealt with and the paperwork is filed correctly
- Complete and maintain vehicle files
- Complete Stock Checks – work with SCM/SM to complete these on time
- Maintain stock levels and make sure sufficient equipment is available for hire
- Ensure suitable PPE is always worn and any damaged or in need of replacement is disposed of, reissued and signed for
- Ensuring audit compliance with SHEQ regulations and company policies across the site, including the timely management of non-compliances
- Assisting SCM with day to day running of location and taking responsibility for depot in managers absence
About You

To succeed in the Foreperson role you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:
- Demonstrable experience of working in a yard environment
- Forklift license
- Desirable –Industry experience
- Experience in managing a team of people.
- Awareness of health and safety requirements.
