Join TE Connectivity as a Tooling & Manufacturing Engineer and play a key role in optimizing production processes for CNC Machining, Anodizing, Assembly, and Testing. Based at our Swindon facility, you'll drive projects to increase capacity, support new product introductions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Main Tasks
- Provide hands-on support for tooling, machining, and manufacturing operations
- Deliver NPI, process improvement, and productivity projects
- Analyze technical data to solve production issues and justify CAPEX investments
- Maintain and update process controls, PFMEAs, BOMs, and documentation
- Support tooling design, optimization, and implementation
- Ensure robust problem-solving for quality issues and customer complaints
- HNC/Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Strong background in tooling and hands-on manufacturing
- Experience with machining, anodizing, or assembly processes
- Knowledge of Aerospace/Defense standards (preferred)
- Confident communicator and decision-maker
- SAP and Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred)
