Technician for Plumbing, Heating and Gas - #193968

As part of the ongoing development and growth of our plumbing & heating and gas engineering curriculum areas at HLNSC, we are seeking to appoint a Full time Technician for Plumbing, Heating and Gas.

To maintain the Plumbing & Heating and Gas Engineering training workshops, tools, equipment and stores and provide technical support to staff and students across the Plumbing & Heating and Gas Engineering curriculum areas.

The key responsibilities of the post include workshop and equipment maintenance, supporting staff and students in the practical delivery of the curriculum, and managing consumable stocks and the preparation of lesson materials.

We are looking for an individual who has a real commitment to comprehensive post 16 education and training, ideally with relevant workshop maintenance / management experience, preferably within an educational / vocational training context.

Then post will be based at our Folly Lane Campus in Hereford, with some support required for provision at the Low Carbon Technology Training Centre at our Holme Lacy campus.

Whoever we appoint will need to be able to work well with young people as well as being able to oversee the logistics of workshop management and development.
