About the role

  • This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered
  • We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
  • The base location for this role is Greggs Q9 but can work remotely if required.


What you'll do

As a Technical Specification Officer, you’ll:

  • Completion of Raw Material & Finished Product Specifications to key deadlines as per our PLM requirements.
  • Contribute and support to the implementation of the new specification system.
  • Complete objectives and KPIs (e.g. Mass Updates / Allergen Audits) – providing updates each reporting period/as required.
  • Completion & maintenance of Specification Status Trackers to ensure accurate data available to key stakeholders.
  • Maintain PLM planner cards when specifications become live to highlight the status of the spec for the PLM process.
  • Provide specification detail reports to relevant stakeholders such as; Where used reports, Specification status updates etc.
  • Provide support to customer care team by answering Technical related customer queries regarding allergens / ingredient lists etc.
