At our Golborne site (5 mins from the J22 or J23 M6) based on the East Lancs Road, we employ over 270 colleagues' who produce a number of packaging solutions on a 24/7 basis for major international customers.
We now need to strengthen our Packing team and require a Technical Packer/Operative
Experience
Working as a Technical Packer you will have:
Technical Packer – 12-hour Shifts (Days & Nights Rotating)
£28,900 + Benefits

Experience
Working as a Technical Packer you will have:
- Previous packing experience in fast paced manufacturing environment – responsible for ensuring product being packed meets the required specification and report any defects to supervision
- Trouble shooting and addressing issues occurring with AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicle)
- To ensure the packaging is of an acceptable standard, removing any cartons, trays, etc. which do not meet the required specification.
- To check that each label is the correct one for the product being packed.
- To ensure that the date and packer no. is clearly marked on each label
- Good Health and Safety awareness
- Reliable, self-motivated, and resourceful approach to work in manufacturing warehouse
- Proactive, methodical, and accurate/safe working methods
- Excellent Communication and team working skills
- Ability to learn fast and safely
