Technical Officer - Support Our Engineering Team
Location: Guildford AMM
Contract: Full-Time
Salary : £28.026 - £31185 + location allowance
About the role
Join Our Maintenance Engineering Team
We're looking for a Technical Officer to assist in providing vital technical support to our Maintenance Engineering team. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a passion for engineering excellence.
What You'll Do
- Work safely and in accordance with Safe Systems of Work , method statements, plans, and company procedures.
- Assist in delivering technical support across maintenance and engineering activities.
- Support technical inspections, tests, investigations, and data analysis.
- Help prepare method statements and work plans for design or operational activities.
- Maintain accurate records and update systems and databases.
- Contribute to your own development and support the growth of others.
Your experience and skills
What you'll need
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Hold and retain competencies relevant to the role as required by business needs.
- Ideally hold (or be working towards) NVQ Level 1 or 2 (or equivalent) in an engineering or leadership subject.
- Full driving licence and willingness to drive vehicles as required.
Important Information
This is a safety-critical role, which means you'll need to pass a medical assessment and be subject to drug and alcohol testing. Your role will involve working days, nights and weekends, so flexibility is necessary.
