Reports to: Technical Manager
Location: Field/Remote - Leeds/Sheffield/Birmingham/Gloucester
Working hours: 40 hours Mon – Fri, 5 days per week between the hours of 8am-5pm

Yu Smart are looking for a Technical Lead to join our innovative business. We are currently recruiting for a Technical Lead with drive and who is willing to go that extra mile to ensure properties are left with smart meters. Whilst working closely with the Regional Field Manager & Technical Assurance Manager.

What We Need From Yü

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:

• Ensure accuracy of work is to the required standard.
• Quality of installs ensuring Audit targets are met.
• Providing Technical support in field and via Technical support Desk
• Provide in-centre training, assessments & trade test
• Help facilitate the delivery of a seamless customer experience for our client.
• Coach and support the field team where required.
• Develop processes and procedures
• OOH support

Relevant Qualifications / Experience:

• Smart Metering (Dual Fuel) Experience
• Industry Qualifications: CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent)
• Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent)
• Three Phase

Desirable:

• REGT1 – Medium Pressure
• MET4 – Small commercial gas metering
• Current Transformer (CT)

Additional Requirements:

• UK Driving Licence
• Pass a colour blindness test.
• Pass a DBS check.
