About Your Role

We're seeking a passionate Product Developer to join our teamsport apparel squad and work with some of the biggest clubs, leagues and brands in the industry. As a Product Developer in our dynamic team, you'll guide the development of cutting-edge embellishments for the biggest names in the industry. Collaborate with top-tier brands, you'll lead the charge in crafting innovative designs, influencing clients and coordinating new developments across our product lines. It's time to gear up, step onto the field, and make your mark in the world of teamsport apparel!

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the client with technical expertise, by guiding them to the greatest value solution for their branding needs; by gathering product specifications for new programs, or redesigns of existing programs, and re-engineering options to meet target prices

  • Development and delivery of programs for some of the world’s leading sports associations

  • Partner with the commercial team on developing product opportunities to drive key initiatives and achieve sales objectives for assigned accounts

  • Effectively project manage product development process from client briefing to artwork development, costing/pricing, sampling, and final approval 

  • Work directly with sportswear manufacturers on suitable executions                                                

  • Coordinate with GPD team and variable data end-to-end specialists to deploy new items to production

  • Prepare global price proposals using established tools and guidelines and escalate price approval in competitive situations

  • Participate in store audits, client meetings and calls, and the creation of the selling narrative, as needed

  • Remain current on industry trends and product innovations to effectively partner with clients in leveraging Avery Dennison solutions



  • Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships

  • Technical knowledge of printing, weaving, heat transfer, variable data, and manufacturing strongly preferred

  • Experience in new product development

  • Knowledge of the retail, apparel or label industries

  • Passion for products, trends, insights, possibilities, and development

  • Demonstrated ability to be highly organized while managing multiple projects to completion against tight deadlines

  • Highly effective oral and written communication and presentation skills

  • Thrive in a collaborative, matrixed environment, coordinating with multiple people and global functions

  • High level of PC skills, including use of Gmail, ERP (Oracle preferred), pricing tools, product/client databases 

  • Solid mathematical skills for pricing

  • Willing to travel to client sites within the UK, with some occasional travel outside the UK
