About The Team

To lead and manage the sales team in achieving revenue targets, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships. The Sales Manager is responsible for developing sales strategies, coaching team members, and ensuring the successful execution of sales plans.

Our Gateshead based Sales Team have one of the most exciting futures ahead of them as we help customers to enhance the way they process face to face and ecommerce payments.

Our customers expect world class service, and their customers expect world class experience when making purchases. Thanks to Worldpay’s great products, we can provide an acquiring solution that makes it as easy, fast and advantageous as possible for our customers to make transactions. You will be responsible for selling Worldpay’s solutions that will help revolutionize the way our customers operate in this ever-changing world.

What You’ll Own

• Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching.
• Foster a high-performance, goal-oriented team culture.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key colleagues and stakeholders.
• Oversee the resolution of customer issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Track team performance against KPIs and sales targets.
• Prepare regular sales reports and present insights to senior management.
• Use CRM tools to manage pipelines and monitor sales activities.
• Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align efforts.
• Provide feedback on customer needs and market demands.
• Ensure clear communication of goals, expectations, and updates.
• Knowledge of company products, services and business operations to enable resolution of customer inquiries
