We’re looking for a Support Worker to offer compassionate, one-to-one support in the Ottery St Mary area.

This isn’t just a job — it’s an opportunity to build trust, nurture independence, and help someone feel more confident and empowered each day . You’ll be a steady presence, offering encouragement, uplifting routines, and joyful moments along the way.

About the Role:

• 15 hours per week
• Every other weekend
• Daily dog walks – must be comfortable with dogs!
• Drive client to/from appointments and leisure outings
• Provide gentle structure, motivation, and positive encouragement
• Focus on companionship, confidence building, and emotional support – no personal care required
• Opportunity for additional hours through our wider care services

What We’re Looking For:

• A driver with access to your own vehicle
• Calm, friendly, and able to build trust
• Energetic and enjoys being active and outdoors
• Patient, understanding, and mindful of mental health needs
• Dog-friendly – his dog is an important part of his life!
