Hi, I’m a young man born in 2006, and I’m looking for a dynamic, kind, patient, and caring person to help support me as I take an exciting next step in my life.

I live with my family (and our lovely dog!) in Ashford, but soon I’ll be moving into my own space right next door. It’s a big change, and I’ll need someone who can help me feel confident and supported throughout the transition.

I’m independently mobile and have Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, hearing impairment, and a speech and language delay—so I appreciate when people are calm, alert, and really understand how to support me. Sometimes I need verbal prompts, physical help, or someone who can use the right strategies when I’m feeling overwhelmed.

I love going out in the car, riding on trains, eating out, swimming, listening to music, and playing computer games. It’s important to me that the people around me interact with me and include me in what’s going on—I enjoy being part of things.

You’ll be joining a great care team and helping me with day-to-day things like personal care, home activities, and fun trips out. You’ll also help me take part in education, therapy, and leisure activities that help me grow. Once I move into my accommodation you will cook with me and help me to learn how to complete household chores. It is important that you are patient with me as I will be going from living with my parents to being in my own space.

There’s a chance for extra hours during college holidays and when other carers need cover, too—so if you're dependable and up for building a good connection, this could be a great fit.

You’d Be Perfect For This Role If You
