Role Overview
As a result of strong business growth and a long-term commitment to innovation, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Strategic Finance Manager to join our expanding, highly skilled team. This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to provide financial analysis and planning for UK Operations, UK Supply Chains Groups, UK Complaints, and UK Research and Development Management.

Role Overview

This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to provide financial analysis and planning for UK Operations, UK Supply Chains Groups, UK Complaints, and UK Research and Development Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Direction and Guidance: Provide business and financial direction, advice, and guidance to the Site Management Team.
- Budget Management: Manage the process of setting and delivering an expenditure budget in excess of $ 150 million dollars for the ADC UK Site, including Research and Development.
- Financial Planning: Ensure delivery to meet plan and work with management to deliver key strategic and simplification cost savings.
- Risk Management: Meet monthly with management to ensure they keep within the financial plan and provide guidance to correct or mitigate areas of financial risk.
- Capital Budget Management: Manage an annual multi-million dollar capital budget or Operations and R&D.
- Financial Analysis: Formulate accurate P&L, balance sheet, and other ad-hoc financial analysis in a timely manner.
- Compliance: Ensure the Financial Planning and Analysis team carries out risk analysis to reduce financial risk to the business and provide risk mitigation processes.
- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal processes, procedures, and controls that ensure the integrity of financial assets and comply with Division/Corporate policies and procedures.
- Inventory Management: Manage the process of daily inventory counting, reconciliation, and corrective actions over the site inventory.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, motivate, develop, and manage the performance of personnel within the Financial Planning and Analysis and Compliance teams.
- Deputize for Finance Director: Deputize for the Finance Director as required.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience:
- Experience in a finance-related field, planning, management accounting, or manufacturing role.
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience in Manufacturing Finance management, planning multiple business cycles, and managing budgets with senior managers.
