Strategic Buyer (M/F/D)* - #148201

This is a varied and hands-on role, working closely with sales and project teams to ensure suppliers, contracts, and materials are in place to support successful project delivery.

What you'll be handling:

• Managing customer-specific suppliers to ensure capacity, quality, and performance
• Forecasting and planning supplier capacity in line with project timelines
• Negotiating framework agreements and project-specific contracts
• Acting as the main procurement contact throughout the full project lifecycle
• Supporting supplier development and contributing to sustainability targets
• Helping optimise procurement processes and reporting against supply chain and cost-saving goals
  
  

What you'll need:

• Previous experience in a commercial purchasing or buyer role
• A degree in a technical or commercial field is preferred
• Ideally qualified CIPS or another recognised procurement qualification (or working towards it)
• A proactive, structured way of working with strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work across functions and cultures with confidence and professionalism
• Fluent in English (Dutch or German language would be an advantage)
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 60% of the time
