  • Role overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. With affluent opportunities for career development, JD Group is the place to be if you are motivated by progression and interested in developing your career.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a knowledgeable and seamless customer experience for all customers that enter the store.
  • Continuously maintaining clean and tidy stock standards on shop floor for customers at all times.
  • Collaborate with your team members to achieve sales and KPI targets through being knowledgeable on; current trends, in store promotions and continuously evolving store processes.
  • Drive sales, ensuring that targets are achieved and, where possible, exceeded.
  • Utilise the in-store devices, offering the customer the whole product range.
  • Provide alternatives and add on sales at every opportunity.
  • Replenish stock levels when needed, making sure the full-size range is on the shop floor where possible.
  • Ensure that product is priced correctly.
  • To deputise for other staff, work within departments, or carry out other duties as required.
  • Always represent JD Sports in the most professional manner.
  • Conduct your work in a safe and responsible manner.

Role Objectives And KPI’s

  • Provide exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Actively drive sales to support the store in meeting and exceeding the stores financial goals
  • Ensure the timely and accurate replenishment of stock on the shop floor to maintain optimal product availability

Skills And Experience

  • A positive attitude towards a fast-paced, customer focused retail environment.
  • An ability to enthusiastically look at a challenge as an opportunity to develop yourself; your career and learn new skills.
  • Confident Interpersonal and communication skills who thrives in social situations through engagement with customers.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on store needs.
