An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of staff nurse on our dynamic gastroenterology ward.

Our medical ward C2 treats patients mainly admitted with a variety of general medical conditions. This 27 bedded inpatient ward which specialises in medial nursing and offers something for everyone and we are confident you will thrive in our supportive and forward thinking team recently taken over by new management. Naturally, acute medicine is a fast paced environment with a high turnover of patients in our wards meaning the nursing interventions you deliver will truly make a difference to our patients and their loved ones.

The ward is fast-paced, well-led and organised, making it a great place to learn. Our established nurses are experienced mentors/practice assessors who are supportive, friendly, and possess a wide range of transferable skills. We work cohesively and there is no "I" in OUR team- we work alongside each other and together. Therefore we encourage both newly qualified and experienced nurses in applying to join our team.

Successful candidates will be well-supported, and a bespoke training package will be tailored to suit individual learning needs. You will acquire a broad range of extended skills to compliment your passion for nursing including but not limited to venepuncture, cannulation, catheterisation, NG placement and management, complex wound care and much more. You will have access to a wealth of knowledge to help develop your nursing career-ranging from consultants, specialty doctors and specialist nurses. We want to invest in YOU. In return C2 asks that you are positive, enthusiastic and passionate in delivering the 6C's.

You will gain extended skills to compliment your passion for nursing. Training and career development opportunities will be provided for all successful candidates. A preceptorship package will be provided for any newly qualified nurses wishing to join our team. Our team is supportive and friendly and have a wide range of transferable skills.
