About The Role
We’re looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Software Engineer (React) to join our growing IT team. You’ll play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining a variety of bespoke applications, mobile apps, websites, APIs, and databases that drive our digital services.
In this hybrid role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, transforming design concepts into functional, scalable software using React, TypeScript, and modern development tools.

About The Role
We’re looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Software Engineer (React) to join our growing IT team. You’ll play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining a variety of bespoke applications, mobile apps, websites, APIs, and databases that drive our digital services.
In this hybrid role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, transforming design concepts into functional, scalable software using React, TypeScript, and modern development tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop clean, structured, and reusable front-end code using React and TypeScript.
- Create and implement API contracts and consume RESTful services.
- Collaborate with design teams to translate UI/UX designs into functional web interfaces.
- Contribute to the development of customer-facing applications and internal tools.
- Work with AWS-based back-end services.
- Support on-call activities as part of a rotating schedule.
- Maintain documentation and support testing initiatives to ensure quality delivery.
- Strong experience in front-end development using React, TypeScript, and Redux Toolkit.
- Proficiency in JSON, HTTP, and working with REST APIs.
- A keen eye for detail and passion for producing scalable, maintainable code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience working in Agile teams and using modern development workflows.

- TDD (Test-Driven Development)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Figma for design collaboration
- This role includes on-call working on a 24/7 rota basis.
- Enhanced security vetting will be required.
- Occasional travel to Chandlers Ford, Hampshire may be necessary.
