Position Summary

This role sits in the European Office (EO) Brand Team, which has regional responsibility across Europe. The team’s responsibilities are broadly passionate about 4 key areas:

  • Improve Go To Market success for EU16 & EO by influencing & shaping Suwon marketing strategy & creative approach across all our Smartphone & mobile ecosystem products (e.g. watches, buds, tablets, etc.) and Consumer Electronic devices (e.g. TVs, Sound Bars, Domestic appliances, etc.)
  • Devise Regional partnerships opportunities that allow Samsung to connect with core audiences (e.g. Gen Z) and passion points (e.g. Music, Gaming, Film)
  • Develop EO-led campaigns & initiatives that deliver on the European Office priorities and opportunities, while protecting & enhancing the Samsung brand
  • Drive retail strategy and execution across Europe


This role will sit in the Brand Strategy & Campaigns team and report directly to the Head of Social Strategy and Analytics.

Our social channels are a core strategic focus for the business and integral to our marketing plans across Europe. We have daring growth plans and require a dedicated individual to help craft the strategic direction, develop analytics tools and execute practical action plans

Role And Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Under direction from the Head of Social Strategy & Analytics and through deep collaboration with the Go-to-Market teams, you will help elevate Samsung’s social marketing performance across Europe
  • Through robust, advised analysis, you will build clear insights, mentorship and recommendations that drive immediate, short-term fixes or craft longer-term critical initiatives
  • Deliver executive-level reporting on a weekly, monthly, and ad hoc campaign basis—highlighting performance trends, strategic findings, and audience behaviour.
  • Track regional trends, competitive benchmarks, and platform algorithm changes across Europe, providing timely insights to content and strategy teams.
  • Collaborate closely with regional GTM and subsidiary social teams to contextualise insights and reflect linguistic, cultural, and behavioural nuances in reporting.
  • Analyse organic social media performance across European platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube), identifying actionable insights and optimisation opportunities.
  • Use Sprinklr to manage performance dashboards, tagging systems, and automated reporting across multiple European markets.
  • Evaluate influencer and earned content performance using Traackr, identifying emerging voices and organic amplification opportunities.
  • Integrate data from internal and proprietary tools to build holistic performance views aligned with broader marketing KPIs.
  • Leverage key performance insights from owned data as well as broader 3rd party and consumer sources to inform the action plan and prioritise key improvements in collaboration with regional GTM and subsidiary social teams.
  • Conduct post-level performance analysis to test content hypotheses (formats, timing, creative messaging, etc.).
  • Chip in on the development and refinement of social measurement frameworks and best practices.
  • Develop clear, committed channel and market recommendations to level up overall performance.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to support or level up EU16 markets in analytics and tracking challenges
  • Ensure that all recommendations and directives align with Global Brand Strategy and Global Brand Visual Identity.
  • Stay informed on privacy regulations (including GDPR) and platform compliance requirements across European markets.


What We Need For This Role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Comprehensive and proven experience using social analytics to drive positive impact, preferably in a regional or global role or in an agency working in a fast-paced environment, able to balance and prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Expertise using Sprinklr (Samsung-mandated tool) for tagging, social listening, campaign tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Experience with Traackr or comparable influencer analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with using internal/custom reporting tools and integrating multi-source data sets.
  • Strong grasp of key social KPIs and organic content performance metrics.
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to translate sophisticated data into strategic recommendations tailored for diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders across Europe and Suwon.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactively finding solutions.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and in collaboration with others.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.


What does success look like?

  • Increase in frequency and value of social reporting in the region.
  • Increase in key performance metrics across the region, driven by proactive insights from the regional social team.
  • Significant improvement in the quality of dashboards/tools for both regional GTM and subsidiary social teams.
  • Increased influence with Suwon and subsidiary teams through the use social data and insights to build proactive cases for innovation and optimisation.
  • High confidence by all partners in the accuracy of data and insights produced


The Interview Process

You should expect a two stage interview:

First round is with the hiring manager and potentially a key stakeholder from within the team covering the role, your expertise and a live task using key tools.

Second round will be with the hiring manager and a director on the team to give broader context to Samsung European office, this role within the business and your relevant experience.
