An opportunity has arisen for a smoking cessation support worker to join our services at Birmingham Womens Hospital. The smoke free pregnancy service is being established at the Women's Hospital and the post holder will work across maternity and gynaecology services to support women and families who wish to stop smoking. The post holder will work with our local network systems and other public health services to establish a premium class service for women under the care of Birmingham Women's Hospital

We are looking for an enthusiastic motivated person to join our team and deliver stop smoking advice and support. The successful post holder should have good people skills and ability to support and motivate others whilst working well in a team setting. They should have a positive and proactive outlook with the ability to motivate, engage and support others to achieve high standards and service delivery. This role will make a significant difference to tobacco users, their families and communities. Ideally the successful post holder will have experience of working in such a role.
