About The Role

Job title: Site Manager - Lincolnshire

Division: Building

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to be based at a Precast Façade Facility in Lincolnshire, overseeing the offsite production and quality management of façade elements for a multi-million-pound student accommodation development in central Manchester.. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a major construction project, overseeing the offsite fabrication of precast façade panels and the installation of window frames within the manufacturing yard.

This position will suit an individual with strong façade, precast concrete, or building envelope experience who can effectively manage quality, programme, safety, and coordination activities in an offsite production environment.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will act as the key link between the precast façade manufacturer and window installation contractor, ensuring that programme requirements, quality standards, and production targets are achieved.

You will oversee all activities within the yard that would typically be managed on a construction site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required specification before products are transported to site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the offsite fabrication of precast façade panels.
  • Coordinate the installation of window frames into precast units within the manufacturing facility.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the precast manufacturer, window installation teams, and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure all works are delivered in line with project programmes and production schedules.
  • Monitor and maintain quality assurance procedures, inspections, and testing requirements.
  • Review and complete quality records, check sheets, and handover documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all SHEQ requirements and company procedures.
  • Coordinate daily activities and monitor progress against agreed targets.
  • Identify and resolve quality, programme, and logistical issues proactively.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure work meets project specifications and industry standards.
  • Provide regular progress updates and reports to project management teams.

About You

  • Proven experience in a Site Manager, Quality Manager, or Production Management role within construction.
  • Strong understanding of façade systems, precast concrete, curtain walling, cladding, or building envelope solutions.
  • Knowledge and experience of QA/QC processes and inspection procedures.
  • Experience managing programmes, production schedules, and subcontractor activities.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications are preferred.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to the project site in central Manchester when required.

What's On Offer

  • Opportunity to work on a major construction project.
  • Long-term role with a leading delivery team.
  • Chance to influence quality and project delivery from the earliest stages of production.

If you're an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in façades, precast concrete, or quality management and are looking for an opportunity to take ownership of a critical offsite delivery function, we'd love to hear from you.
