Job Details Are you interested in joining a growing global manufacturing organisation? At Origin we are looking for a Shunter Driver who will be responsible for moving and driving Origin company vehicles between units for the loading team to load with the relevant products needed for customer deliveries.

Working hours: 2.45pm – 11.15pm

Key Responsibilities of the Shunter Driver includes but not limited to:

• Be responsible for the safe movement of vehicles around Origin
• Driver up to and including 7.5t Vehicles, so you can shunt vehicles onto relevant loading bays
• Parking up of vehicles after they have been fully loaded
• Making sure that all of the vehicles are ticked and secured when left
• Ensuring the yard remains clean, tidy and operational at all times
• Note any damage that is spotted on vehicles and report as required
• Assist the loading team when and if required with the loading and unloading of the vehicles
• Working in a professional manner in line with company guidelines
• Participate fully in any training identified

What you will have

• 7.5 tonne license
• Relevant transport background and having working in a transport environment for a minimum of 2 years or experience of warehouse background where vehicles have been loaded and control of a small team
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent team worker with a hands on approach
• Flexible and Reliable
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and take initiative
• Willingness to think outside the box and get involved even when outside the job description
