- To maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to Company/customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concerns.
- Deliver technical sales training/support through lunch & learns etc. in company and customer locations as required.
- To drive innovation and growth through the development, testing and implementation of new products, techniques and equipment.
- To work closely with Engineering to ensure solutions meet the needs of the customer from a technical and budget perspective and that the solution is refined for ease of install/execution.
- To produce detailed, Job specific installation procedures for high end/complex engineered projects.
- Actively seek the voice of the customer (both internal and external customers) and suggest/implement changes to enhance the customer experience.
- To set the standards for the delivery of OSR training and certification classes, alongside technical support and business development support to ensure that the service line execution is safe and successful, and that the organisation achieves competitive advantage in the marketplace.
- To provide training to operations, including the LRS operations support roles to ensure the “District level Critical Jobs” are reviewed effectively and to procedure. Undertake regular audits to review compliance and quality of CJRs.
- To review/approve the upper level ‘Critical Jobs’, defined as requiring Service Line specialist approval.
- Ensure best-in-class responsiveness for internal and external clients through a service-oriented approach, providing bid support and technical expertise.
- Contribute to the Improvement of OSR commercial performance by rightsizing technical solutions, providing guidance on pricing and margins, ensuring competitive positioning and identifying new market opportunities.
- To use professional judgement to ensure that TEAM products and services are safe, effective, competitive and meet all necessary regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Monitor technical compliance of District activities and deal with non-conformances formally through the NCR system.
- Report incidents in a timely manner.
- Attend various training courses as required.
- Embrace change and continuous improvement throughout the business.
- Perform any other tasks within the area of responsibility as required by the Company.
- Actively promote the values and behaviours of TEAM plus the 12 lifesaving rules.
- In-depth technical knowledge in the target service lines, some developing knowledge is acceptable.
- Ability to influence others using evidence based positions.
- Must have good logistic, organisational, and planning skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) including the ability to professionally and credibly present to internal and external groups. Strong interpersonal and relationship skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and Windows products.
- Persistence and the ability to work on your own and as a team to achieve results.
- Strong and resilient temperament.
- Experience with SolidWorks CAD package is preferred (Training can be provided)
