Were looking for a talented Senior UX Practitioner to join our dynamic Product team. This full-time role (Monday to Thursdayno Fridays!) will be essential in undertaking critical user research and design activities to deliver compelling interfaces for The Uncertainty Engine, collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure that the platforms usability and appeal meet the high standards we set for our product.

We are looking for someone with solid industry experience in UX Research and Design best practice for web-based products. Ideal candidates should thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and have a team-oriented mindset. We highly value a positive attitude toward teamwork, as our work is often cross-functional, involving engineers, marketing, and other stakeholders. Familiarity with agile practices is a bonus, but not a necessity.

What you will be doing with us:
As the Senior UX Practitioner at digiLab, you will be responsible for:
- Working closely with product management to translate business requirements into actionable design solutions.
- Conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Partnering with front-end developers to ensure designs are feasible within software engineering constraints.
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Collaborating with internal teams (e.g., engineers, marketing) to design and deliver high-quality user interfaces.
- Maintaining and updating design systems and component libraries.
- Mentoring junior members of the team; directing workload and supporting professional development and career growth accordingly
- Industry experience in a similar role..
- Demonstrated experience working web products/services.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma (preferred), Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision.
- Strong understanding of user research methodologies and related artifacts (e.g. personas, competitor analysis, user journeys, usability testing)
- Strong user-centric design principles and approaches (e.g., wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity UI design).
- Experience with data-driven UX approaches (e.g. use of metrics such as System Usability Scale)
- Some familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Experience in a management or mentorship capacity of junior team members.
- Experience with motion design and animation tools.
- Familiarity with front-end development frameworks like React or Typescript.
- Experience with design systems and component libraries.
- Knowledge of information architecture and interaction design.
- Understanding of SEO principles and web analytics.
