What you'll be handling:

- You act as the main technical contact for the customer
- You create and deliver technical presentations internally and to customers throughout different project phases
- You analyze and challenge customer requirements and decision criteria to ensure optimal solutions
- You perform data analysis and translate customer data into design numbers
- You define and evaluate solution alternatives together with the Sales Project Manager and Solution Designer project coach
- You develop material flow diagrams, performance line layouts, and total cost of ownership calculations to select the best solution
- You determine logistic processes within TGW’s scope and supervise Applications Engineering in creating the solution layout
- You coordinate pricing, prepare and update technical documentation, and lead technical handovers to realization
- You coach and mentor Solution Designers and contribute to improving design processes
- You support the sales strategy and help drive project success through innovative, risk-optimized solutions
- You have an university degree and good mechanics, controls, and IT logistics knowledge
- You live in the surroundings of Market Harborough, you have a drivers license and you are flexible to travel
- You have the ability to produce concise and clear customer and internal presentations
- You are able to work in a multi-disciplinary and intercultural experts' network
- You have good communication and presentation skills in English language
- You have good coaching skills to support the development of others
- You are results and solutions-oriented minded
- You have a market-oriented and cost-effectiveness mindset
- You have several years of experience in logistics-based, integrated solution design or selling
- You have advanced logistic automation design know-how and knowledge of the intralogistics industry and its key integration suppliers
