As a Senior Radiopharmacy Technician, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the highest standards in the production of PET radiopharmaceuticals. From the early stages of project setup to daily production and quality control operations, you'll be integral to ensuring the safe and effective production of life-saving treatments.
What You'll Do:
Project Phase Involvement:
- Assist in drafting and reviewing documentation, including SOPs and validation protocols.
- Support the build, installation, and commissioning of PET Radiopharmacy equipment and systems.
- Ensure compliance with GMP standards and safety regulations.
Radiopharmaceutical Preparation & Quality Control:
- Manufacture PET radiopharmaceuticals using state-of-the-art equipment.
- Perform aseptic dispensing and maintain a clean environment.
- Conduct critical quality control procedures to ensure radiochemical purity.
- Monitor facilities and equipment to maintain top-tier GMP standards.
Continuous Improvement & Compliance:
- Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to corrective action processes.
- Collaborate across departments to drive efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Support training efforts and share expertise with your team.
Daily Operations:
- Sanitize and maintain the radiopharmacy facility.
- Conduct routine equipment servicing, material checks, and waste disposal.
- Ensure timely and accurate record-keeping for all production and quality control processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 3-5 years in radiopharmacy or aseptic dispensing.
- A related science degree.
- Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with GMP, pharmaceutical chemistry, and radiation protection procedures.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work on a rotating 12-hour shift once the site project is complete.
- Valid independent work permit
