At The Compleat Food Group, we’re seeking a Senior Process Development Manager to lead process innovation and excellence across multiple sites, with a primary base at our Middlesbrough facility.

You’ll take ownership of scaling up and launching high-quality, great-tasting food products while ensuring technical integrity, customer satisfaction, and commercial success.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead a cross-site team of Process Development Managers and Technologists.
  • Oversee all post-kitchen development stages from trial to launch.
  • Deliver the NPD, EPD and quality agenda across your sites, on time and to budget.
  • Ensure full adherence to internal and customer gate processes and technical standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, production, planning, and commercial teams.
  • Represent your sites with professionalism in customer-facing trials and pre-production visits.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in food manufacturing (FMCG preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience managing people in a development or technical role.
  • Degree or HND in a food science/manufacturing-related field (preferred).
  • Skilled in planning, communication, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Confident managing trials, data analysis, BOM accuracy and product costings.
  • Strong working knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and quality standards.
