This is a critical position within the Operations team leading and delivering varied and challenging projects at the Wolverhampton facility.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be working closely with the production team and external sub contractors in order to keep the facility running smoothly and efficiently. 

In this position you will be responsible for all manufacturing engineering activities on site along with the management of equipment (non IT), buildings, grounds, utilities and facilities within the site. 

This role would suit a proactive candidate who is motivated in problem solving and driving solutions forwards. You must be a team player with the ability to work independently and have an analytical mind with an eye for detail.

 

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience using CAD software
  • HNC / Degree in engineering discipline or equivalent experience
  • Awareness of techniques like Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
  • Practical hands on experience of electromechanical products in a production engineering environment

The Successful Candidate:

  • Driven self starter able to take ownership of projects and tasks
  • Is approachable and able to communicate effectively
  • Organised with a keen eye for detail 
  • Analytical and process driven
