You Will Be Responsible For
- Owning and managing Microsoft 365 and Azure services
- Maintaining VMware ESXi, Windows Servers, storage systems, DNS, and PKI
- Collaborating with Information Security to implement best practice configurations and security hardening
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues, liaising with third parties as needed
- Mentor junior team members and share your knowledge
- Evaluating emerging technologies and recommending improvements to performance, reliability, and security
What Is UK Biobank
Is this you?
In order to be successful, you will hhave
- At least 5 years’ experience providing third-line IT support in a medium sized organisation managing multiple technologies
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform) and Azure
- Experience with Enterprise Mobility & Security Management (Intune, Entra ID)
- Solid knowledge of VMware ESXi, Windows Server 2019+, DNS, storage systems including SAN, and PKI
- Good understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security including Zero Trust Network Access
