Are you a talented embedded engineer with full-stack software development experience?
Can you get excited about UK innovation in Semiconductors, Tiny ML and the Internet of Things (IoT)?
If so, an exciting, venture-backed, AI start-up wants you to lead the software engineering team, with one of the most daring and disruptive semiconductor technologies ever to have come out of the UK. This pivotal position will involve direct collaboration with the CEO and the founding team
Ideally, you have:
Have a passion for Semi Conductors and embedded systejs, especially Tiny Machine Learning,
A strong knowledge of the existing embedded software development frameworks providing high energy efficiency to Machine Learning (e.g. TinyML, BNNs)
Able to architect and code an end-to-end web product solution that translates customer feedback into product
Capable of leading, managing, mentoring and coding!
Responsibilities:
Architect and develop the end-to-end software development tools used by our customers
Design and develop an embedded software backend library for accelerating and improving energy efficiency, this will be used by customers to develop close-to-hardware ML models for embedded systems
Manage, lead and mentor the software team
Defining and managing the engineering processes required to deliver on customer projects
Requirements:
Ability to lead and mentor a team of young talented engineers
Experience in delivering software to customer requirements
Ability to convert customer feedback and user requirements into technical plans
Experience working with embedded ML frameworks (e.g., Tiny ML, BNNs), data and image processing
Experience building embedded software libraries from scratch
Experience utilizing cutting-edge ML models and methods
Skilled in C++/C / Python development experience in customer-facing products
Experience with hardware-software co-design and power/energy evaluation for embedded systems
Experience working in a start-up or early-stage Deep Tech projects
