We are looking for a highly organised and experienced Senior Despatch Operator to join our Supply Chain team in Wrexham. In this key operational role, you will coordinate the daily activities of the physical despatch area, ensuring timely and compliant shipment of products to customers worldwide. You will support the Despatch Team Leader, act as a deputy in their absence, and play a vital role in maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.

We are looking for a highly organised and experienced Senior Despatch Operator to join our Supply Chain team in Wrexham. In this key operational role, you will coordinate the daily activities of the physical despatch area, ensuring timely and compliant shipment of products to customers worldwide. You will support the Despatch Team Leader, act as a deputy in their absence, and play a vital role in maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate commercial and non-commercial shipments, ensuring all documentation complies with UK Civil Aviation Authority and international trade regulations.
- Prepare and manage despatches using ERP, EBR, and global serialisation systems, ensuring temperature and hazardous goods requirements are met.
- Liaise with couriers, QA, Sales Administration, and global supply chain teams to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
- Coach team members in despatch processes, supporting training and development initiatives.
- Manage despatch facility systems and ensure compliance with GMP and EHS standards.
- Drive continuous improvement activities and support departmental KPIs and problem-solving initiatives.
- Previous experience in a similar export/distribution role from a highly regulated industry
- A natural leader who is proactive and attentive to detail
- Experience from the pharma industry or dangerous goods would be preferred
