We're looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Manager to join our MEP Project Team working on the New Hospital Programme (NHP).
Location: London. Travel to site during delivery in Cambridgeshire will be required.
Hours: Full-time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our MEP project team, delivering large-scale acute healthcare facilities across the UK. You'll play a key role in leading mechanical design and coordination delivery for complex and major projects valued at over £200m, working collaboratively with talented professionals to create facilities that make a real difference to communities.

What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Mechanical Design Manager, You'll Be Working Within The MEP Project Team, Supporting Them In Delivering World-class Healthcare Facilities. Your Day-to-day Will Include
- Leading mechanical design and coordination delivery for complex projects from preconstruction through to completion
- Supervising the project's mechanical design management team, ensuring sufficient resources and successful execution to budget and programme
- Collaborating with internal MEP and construction design counterparts and third-party stakeholders to deliver agreed strategies
- Overseeing mechanical design workstreams to ensure quality outputs are delivered to programme across all areas
- Supporting client and external interfaces including leading user groups, stakeholder engagements and consultations
This role of Senior Mechanical Design Manager is great for you if:
- You have a BEng in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering and are a member of a professional institute such as CIBSE or IHEEM
- You bring senior level experience from Tier 1 contracting with a strong track record in delivering complex projects.
- You possess excellent technical and digital knowledge including BIM (ISO 19650), Building Safety Act, and statutory legislation
- You demonstrate strong leadership capability, people management skills, and the ability to motivate others to achieve high standards
- You're a collaborative team player and clear communicator who thrives on problem-solving
