Senior Associate, Regional Management for the Middle East
Location: London, with frequent travel to Dubai
Brookfield is a global asset manager focused on real estate, infrastructure, renewable energy & transition, private equity, and private credit with over $1 trillion of assets under management.
The Global Client Group (GCG) manages institutional relationships and raises capital for Brookfield’s various private funds. In the Middle East, Brookfield has raised over $34bn of institutional capital from 9 countries across the region for real estate, infrastructure, renewable power, private equity, and private credit strategies over the past five years.
The Senior Associate, Regional Management will report jointly to the
Middle East Regional Head of GCG and the Senior Vice President of Regional Management of EMEA to drive the execution of both the regional business plans and regional fundraise plans.
The Regional Management Team is responsible for partnering with the Regional Head of GCG to design, drive and manage all aspects of the Global Client Group within the region, and reporting on the strategic initiatives in the region. A significant part of the role will include managing the end-to-end fundraising strategy for Brookfield’s various private funds, working with the Regional Head and Regional Manager of EMEA to assist in designing, building and managing the individual fundraising plans in the Middle East region.

The Senior Associate, Regional Management will partner with the global
fundraise management team to drive the fundraising lifecycle, customizing and
implementing the fundraise strategy in the Middle East region and coordinating all stakeholder groups in delivering their respective roles throughout each stage of the fundraising lifecycle. Including but not limited to:
- Develop and implement the strategy for generating investor interest and driving
meet fundraise targets.
- Proactively monitor and tactically adapt the strategy as circumstances change.
- Facilitate key decisions throughout fundraise process with all stakeholder groups.
- Strategically review fund-specific marketing materials, including offering
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the global client group and business groups.
- Identify issues and proactively manage risk.
- Proactively report on impact for marketing and fundraising initiatives in the region, developing relevant KPIs.
with the Middle East Regional Head to design and execute all aspects of the regional business plan as well as interfacing with investors and external advisors. Including but not limited to:
- Assist in designing the regional business and manage execution of the plan.
- Assist in executing on a stakeholder management strategy primarily with Diligence Management, Marketing & Content, Client Relationship Management, Investor Relations, Legal, Compliance, Finance & Operations and the Investment Teams and Product Specialists
- Identify issues and proactively manage risk.
- Act as an alternate to the Middle East Regional Head in representing the GCG within the region.
- Post graduate degree in finance, business management or another relevant discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in fundraising for private fund strategies, with a particular focus on the Middle East region
- Demonstrated understanding of the LP landscape and preferences, styles and requirements across key regions and investor types
- Strong strategy/product knowledge and ability to communicate (internally) details of fund approach.
- Strong investment and financial analytical capabilities and investment reporting experience, including strong proven Excel skills.
- Experience in high volume processes and technology enabled solutions.
- Experience in real estate, infrastructure and/or private equity asset classes strongly preferred.
- Institutional fund marketing sales and support experience strongly preferred.
- Strong relationship management skills across multiple countries, being able to flex communication style to diverse geographies, team members and investors.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Shares information with team members in a clear and concise manner
- Able to develop a strong internal/external network.
- Proactively seeks opportunities to get involved in more challenging projects.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and creative problem-solving ability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including preparation and delivery of presentations.
- Self-motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional development.
- Have a focus on development of others, giving feedback and when required having difficult conversations.
- Ability to read, speak and write fluent English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
