Summary:

We are looking for an organised, commercially minded Senior Assistant Merchandiser with a strong analytical skillset and a keen eye for detail to join our Core Merchandising team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving the financial planning and stock management of our AYBL Womens and Mens product ranges.

About the Role:

As Senior Assistant Merchandiser, you will support the team in strategically driving the business through effective planning, range building and trading. Working closely with Buying, Sourcing, Design, Technical, E-commerce and Marketing teams, you will help ensure we deliver commercially successful product at the right time, in the right quantities and at the right price.

You will bring a strong balance of commercial understanding and fashion awareness, helping to identify opportunities, mitigate risk and support the smooth running of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of all merchandising administration
  • Accurately maintain and update key merchandising systems
  • Analyse and interpret sales and stock data, clearly highlighting opportunities and risks to the wider team
  • Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to manage product critical paths
  • Support and help manage the end-to-end supply chain process with clear, timely communication
  • Assist with financial planning and stock management for core product ranges
  • Line management and development of the Merchandising Admin Assistant


Person Specification:

  • Strong numerical, data management and analytical skills with a good understanding of Excel
  • Ideally 2–3 years’ experience in a similar merchandising role within the clothing or sportswear industry
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise a wide range of tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Confident, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of your role
  • A genuine passion for fitness, fashion and product
