Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint a compassionate and proactive SEND Welfare Support Officer to deliver specialist pastoral, welfare and safeguarding support for students with additional needs. This role focuses on delivering targeted interventions, promoting independence and working collaboratively with staff, families and external agencies to ensure students make meaningful progress and successfully prepare for adulthood.

Please note, this is a term time only role working 39 weeks of the year.

Suitable candidates will hold a minimum Level 3 qualification with GCSEs in English and Mathematics and either be ELSA trained or willing to undertake this training, alongside working towards an introductory teaching qualification. They will also bring experience of supporting students with SEND and delivering targeted interventions.
