The Security Administrator is responsible for the administrative management and maintenance of NGUKL information and physical security policies that relate to certification for our HM Government sponsored Facilities.
Responsibilities
- During office hours, operate a ‘front of house’ helpdesk service operating to provide routine and emergency physical and information security advice to NGUKL employees
- Liaise with vetting to maintain a register of clearances with access to Northrop Grumman facilities
- Support the management of staff security clearances locally to facilitate appropriate facility access
- Support the x-UK security function as and when necessary
- Monitor adherence to company Security Operating Procedures and processes
- Ensure the ongoing effectiveness of Security Controls
- Maintain and respond to a range of Security enquiries from the wider business
- Become fully conversant on NGUKL security, crisis management and business recovery procedures
- To control access at designated sites, issuing visitor/contractor security passes and ensure records of visitors are maintained in accordance with the client and business requirements.

We Are Looking For
- Demonstrable experience as a site administrator, ideally within a regulated industry (Defence/Military, Healthcare, Finance, Legal etc).
- Must be able to hold and maintain government security clearance
- Calm and effective under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, and with a strong customer focus
- Intermediate level PC skills (MS Office)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
