Opportunity

The Security Administrator is responsible for the administrative management and maintenance of NGUKL information and physical security policies that relate to certification for our HM Government sponsored Facilities.

Responsibilities

  • During office hours, operate a ‘front of house’ helpdesk service operating to provide routine and emergency physical and information security advice to NGUKL employees
  • Liaise with vetting to maintain a register of clearances with access to Northrop Grumman facilities
  • Support the management of staff security clearances locally to facilitate appropriate facility access
  • Support the x-UK security function as and when necessary
  • Monitor adherence to company Security Operating Procedures and processes
  • Ensure the ongoing effectiveness of Security Controls
  • Maintain and respond to a range of Security enquiries from the wider business
  • Become fully conversant on NGUKL security, crisis management and business recovery procedures
  • To control access at designated sites, issuing visitor/contractor security passes and ensure records of visitors are maintained in accordance with the client and business requirements.

We Are Looking For

  • Demonstrable experience as a site administrator, ideally within a regulated industry (Defence/Military, Healthcare, Finance, Legal etc).
  • Must be able to hold and maintain government security clearance
  • Calm and effective under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, and with a strong customer focus
  • Intermediate level PC skills (MS Office)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
